The Farce
"Don't Dress for Dinner"

Bernard has invited his beautiful mistress, Suzy, to spend the weekend at his country house, having first arranged for his wife to visit her mother. He has arranged a cordon bleu cook to come along and cook them a romantic dinner and for his best friend, Robert, to be around as a suitable alibi. Foolproof. What could possibly go wrong? Well…just about everything with hilarious results.

"Dick Whittington & His Cat"

Come and share with us the fabulous adventures of our hero, Dick Whittington, as he fights against the evil King Rat, from London to Morocco, by way of King Neptune's Kingdom, to win the hand of his beloved Alice and eventually become Lord Mayor of London, aided by Fairy Bow Bells, Alderman Fitzwarren, Sarah the Cook, Idle Jack and of course Tommy the Cat.

"Private Lives"

Sybil and Elyot arrive at a hotel in France for their honeymoon. Amanda, Elyot's first wife, just happens to be in an adjoining suite with her new husband, Victor. When Elyot and Amanda meet again on a shared terrace of the two suites, they rekindle their lost love and decide to elope, but, as one might expect, all does not go smoothly.

"Billy Liar"

Less than dedicated to his job as an undertaker's clerk and bored with his North Country family background, Billy Fisher takes refuge in his own invented world. For Billy, an energetic imagination makes life tolerable, but well-nigh intolerable for all around him. He lies his way into and out of every situation, producing any explanation that will extricate him from his present predicament, only to open up a fresh can of worms.

The Touching Comedy
"Steel Magnolias"

Set in Truvy's Beauty Parlour, the play charts the events in the lives of six women over a period of three years. The warm witty banter between these friends, running the gamut of birth, marriage and death, forms the lifeblood of this close-knit community. When tragedy strikes at the very heart of their friendship, the underlying strength and mutual support of the group is put to the test. "Laughter through tears is my favourite emotion" reflects Truvy………We hope it will be yours too!
